DOG Radio App Privacy Policy

Crown Point Community School Corporation operates the DOG Radio mobile application (“the Service”).
This page informs you of the policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Data when you use the Service and the choices you have associated with that data.   We use your data to provide and improve the Service.   By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy.

Definitions
“Cookies” are small pieces of data stored on your device. “Personal Data” means data about a living individual who can be identified from that data.
The “Service” is the DOG Radio mobile application operated by Crown Point Community School Corporation.
“Usage Data” is data collected automatically either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit).
“We” is the operator of the Service or authorized third parties working with the Service at the operator’s direction or authorization.
“You” refers to the user of the Service.

Information Collection and Use
We collect several different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve the Service.
While using the Service, you will not be asked to provide Personal Data.  The Service does not collect any of your Personal Data.  However, it does, either indirectly or through a third party, collect information for the purpose of ensuring the Service works on your device and to comply with applicable law.  This includes information about your actual location so that the Service can be tailored to your time zone.
Usage Data:  We collect information as to how the Service is accessed and used.  When you access the Service on your computer, this information may include your computer’s Internet Protocol Address, browser type, browser version, the time and date of your visit, the time spent using the service, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.  When you access the Service by or through a mobile device, we may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device unique ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser you use, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.
Tracking & Cookies Data:  We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on the Service and we hold certain information.  Cookies are files with a small amount of data which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a website and stored on your device. Other tracking technologies are also used such as beacons, tags and scripts to collect and track information and to improve and analyze the Service.  You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of the Service.
Examples of Cookies we use include, but are not limited to:  (1) Session Cookies to operate the Service; (2)  Preference Cookies to remember your preferences and various settings;  and (3) Security Cookies for security purposes.
This collected data is used for various purposes, including, but not limited to: (1) to provide and maintain the Service; (2) to notify you about changes to the Service; (3) to allow you to participate in interactive features of the Service when you choose to do so; (4)  to provide customer care and support; (5) to provide analysis or valuable information for improvements of the Service; (6) to monitor the usage of the Service; and (6) to detect, prevent and address technical issues.

Transfer of Data
The information collected may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from your jurisdiction.
If you are located outside the United States and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data to the United States and process it there.   Your consent to this Privacy Policy represents your agreement to that transfer.
The Service will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and no transfer of  data will take place to an organization or a country unless there are adequate controls in place relative to the security of the data.

Disclosure of Data
Legal Requirements.  The Service may disclose data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (1) comply with a legal obligation; (2) protect and defend the rights or property of Crown Point Community School Corporation and/or the Service; (3)  prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Service; (4) protect the personal safety of users of the Service or the public; and/or (5) protect against legal liability.

Security of Data.  The security of your data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect such data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Retention of Data
We will retain your Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, which may include after you have deactivated or deleted the Service. We will retain and use your Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.  We also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes and to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of the Service.

Service Providers
We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate the Service (“Service Providers”), to provide the Service on our behalf, to perform Service-related services or to assist us in analyzing how the Service is used.  These third parties have access to the Usage, Cookies and Tracking Data described herein only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed toward anyone under the age of 13 and does not collect personal data.  If you are a parent or guardian who has concerns about the collection of data from your child(ren), please contact us.

Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.  We will let you know via email and/or a prominent notice on the Service, prior to the change becoming effective and update the “effective date” at the top of this Privacy Policy.
You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
